Description
The Duke of Normandie is a busy town centre 3* hotel and gastro pub, situated in the heart of St Peter Port.

We are seeking to recruit a full-time Commis Chef to work in our professional and friendly kitchen operation.

Shifts are a mixture of splits and straights, x 48 hours/week.

Duties will include - starter prep, dessert prep, general food prep, breakfast cooking, covering KP's time off, etc.

Skills
Sound all round skills with preferably some previous experience of cooking breakfasts.

A minimum of 1 year working in a similar job in a similar environment is required, although on job training will be given.

A positive attitude, and a strong work ethic is important, as is high levels of cleanliness and awareneness of good health & hygiene practices.

Notes
Single 'Live-in' accommodation is available in our staff house next door to the hotel.
