We now have an exciting opportunity for Assistant Food & Beverage Manager.

As Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you will join a team that is passionate about delivering exceptional service where we believe that anything is possible, whilst having fun in all that we do!

What will I be doing as Assistant Food & Beverage Manager:
•        As Assistant Food & Beverage Manager you will ensure all Food and Beverage outlets within the Merton Hotel delivers to the highest of standards, with the greatest attention to detail and service levels second to none.
•        Supports the smooth running of the food & beverage department, where all aspects of the guest food & beverage service experience are delivered to the highest levels
•        Works proactively to improve guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest enquiries
•        Delivers on plans and objectives where food & beverage initiatives & hotel targets are achieved
•        Supervises the food & beverage team fostering a culture of growth, development and performance within the department
•        Accountable for ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, that productivity and performance levels are attained
•        Builds and maintains effective working relationships with all key stakeholders
•        Takes the lead to deliver departmental programmes that advance service standards, profitability and cost control
•        Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required

Requirements of the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager:
•        We are looking for someone with a huge personality and plenty of drive and energy who can truly make this role their own. To successfully fill this role, you should be able to maintain and demonstrate the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
•        Food and Beverage Assistant Manager experience
•        Customer focused and committed to delivering exceptional levels of guest service.
•        Ability to work under pressure
•        Excellent grooming standards
•        Willingness to develop team members and self
•        Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations on a daily basis
•        Ability to work on your own or in teams
•        Excellent time management and communication skills both up and down the organisation
•        An excellent organiser who is able to delegate effectively
•        Highly motivated and enthusiastic
•        Professional and flexible, willing to learn
