Relationship Manager - Fiduciaries

As a Barclays Relationship Manager – Fiduciaries, you will build highly proactive, long term, internal and external business relationships to grow and develop a portfolio of local Fiduciary clients to generate sustained revenue and recruit new clients. You will work with colleagues across the group to deliver banking and other services thus ensuring a holistic service for the client, whilst adhering to Barclays regulatory and compliance policies.

About us:
Our Overseas Services business provides banking, credit, cash management and investment expertise to our clients through a value adding relationship-led service, product specialists and digital channels. Operating from London, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Glasgow and Dubai we directly serve eight client segments of Fiduciaries, Family Offices, Captives, Funds Administrators, Corporates, Premier Global, Local Business and Local Premier & Retail, together with supporting the booking of High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients onto our Jersey and Isle of Man platforms.

As a Relationship Manager – Fiduciaries, your main responsibilities will involve:        
• Building and maintaining a portfolio of clients by establishing thorough client plans, and develops new opportunities from client contacts, ensuring appropriate provision of products and services
• Retaining existing and growing new revenue streams whilst ensuring delivery against agreed business plans for the target country
• Identifying and providing solutions to a wide range of client needs including investments, banking, credit, FX and wealth structuring (trusts etc)
• Planning and co-ordinating any marketing approaches for new business and actively develop existing relationships through client plan completion and utilisation
• Making recommendations for the implementation of new products and services to meet changing market needs and develop and implement resulting plans including connections
• Monitoring and ensuring adherence to risk service standards on legislation relating to Know Your Customer, Money Laundering and other compliance responsibilities / issues

As a Relationship Manager – Fiduciaries, your skills and qualifications will include:
• Demonstrating excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with advanced relationship management skills with ability to build rapport and credibility with clients
• Demonstrating advanced stakeholder management, advanced questioning techniques and long term strategic planning, also proven verbal and virtual rapport building skills
• Having a proven ability to support and coach clients and colleagues, to influence and negotiate across the matrix as well as advanced presentation skills to be used with clients to promote the services
• Demonstrating a deep knowledge of the Premier proposition and its link into clients’ local banking arrangements and have knowledge of relevant hand off points across Barclays group
• Ideally having a first class general academic track record and possessing an excellent command of the English language, with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrating a constant, optimistic outlook, being able to influence positively on the culture within their team
