Commonwealth nationals aged 17 - 27 need a two year "Working Holiday Maker" permit to enter the Islands.

Working in stunning surroundings on Jersey’s West coast, this role is responsible for being the first point of contact for guests.

This is a full time role and the successful candidate would be required to work a mixture of early and late shifts 5 days a week on a flexible basis including weekends and bank holidays. The successful candidate will be joining a small, close-knit team with a passion for the hospitality industry.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

To ensure all guests receive a warm, positive welcome

To answer all phone calls and transfer calls to the correct line, as well as dealing with restaurant and hotel reservations

To be responsible for check in and check out of hotel guests

Respond to a wide range of requests and enquiries by telephone and e-mail

To be responsible for the charging and billing of hotel and restaurant guests

To balance all payments at the end of each shift

The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills and be IT literate on all MS office packages.
