The Old Government House Hotel in Guernsey, part of Red Carnation Hotel Collection, is a stunning five star property located in the heart of St. Peter Port with amazing views of the surrounding Channel Islands and France. This wonderful Hotel features 63 individually designed bedrooms and suites, an established bar, two restaurants, the Crown Club and several function rooms where we are offering our guests a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
The Food and Beverage department is looking for a Bar Manager to provide our guests with outstanding customer service.
Key responsibilities of the Bar Manager will include:
•        Over see the performance of both The Brassiere Bar and The Crown Club
•        Working as part of the Bars team
•        Ensure standards are adhered to
•        Provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all our guests
•        Managing a team of 7
•        To complete the necessary training for all members of the team
•        Maintaining Bars equipment and stock whilst carrying out monthly stock takes

Have previous experience in a similar role within a four or five star hotel
Excellent cocktail, spirit, beers, wine and coffee knowledge with a passion for the industry
A positive and confident attitude
Display a polite and professional attitude at all times
Be an excellent team player
Sound Admin skills
Be enthusiastic in delivering excellent customer service
Communicate effectively in English
Be able to work well under pressure
Have a friendly, flexible and professional attitude
