We are looking for someone who’s happy to commit to 18 hours per week to match our payroll processing times.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Manage the onboarding of all new employees to ensure that there is synergy between payroll data and Time & Attendance
• Ensure data entry is processed accurately in the HR and Payroll systems throughout the month/year to meet agreed deadlines.
• Ensure accurate payments are made for salaried or hourly paid employees on a monthly basis.
• Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records
• Acting as first point of contact for payroll specific issues from the employees.
• Running of monthly HR Reports; payroll, ITIS return, Social Security Return, holidays accruals, manpower and rent schedule.   
• Maintains all Jersey Employment Statutory requirements and is the first point of contact for such bodies, Social, ITIS, Regulations & Undertakings, Tax Department on Benefit in Kind and Vicounts Department
• Reporting at year end the Benefit in Kind Tax Return on all staff Benefits
• Identify further improvements and changes to Payroll system to ensure the consistent delivery of an efficient and effective company payroll service and system.
• Any other payroll related duties that are otherwise requested

As the successful candidate you will have:

• Ideally 2 years or more practical HR and Payroll experience.
• Sound numeracy skills, data entry skills, attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Strong sense of confidentiality and integrity
• Good written and verbal communication skills
