As a Barclays Client Engagement Manager (CEM), you will be responsible for building a jurisdictional digital plan to optimise clients’ usage of available digital channels. Working in your jurisdiction, you will provide specialist digital support to both clients and colleagues, building high levels of understanding and engagement on cyber security risks. You will design and deploy a variety of interventions which will educate clients and build their usage of Barclay’s digital client capabilities and includes working with Overseas Services client facing colleagues to ensure they are able to confidently and knowledgeably talk to clients about the digital channels available.

As a Client Engagement Manager, your main responsibilities will involve:
• Being the digital expert for Overseas Services (OS) and working with colleagues across their OS platform to increase digital capability and drive clients’ digital engagement
• Supporting colleagues and clients through specific technology launches affecting clients, and being the main point of contact for digital queries from colleagues
• Positively influencing colleagues at all levels and challenging their thinking whilst pushing and championing the digital agenda at all times
• Influencing and convincing clients at a senior level to adopt digital channels along with supporting their awareness of cyber security and risks that are posed to their businesses
• Ensuring consistency in the Overseas Services approach, understanding that different client segments may require different solutions
• Having a direct impact on digital implementation and adoption in the jurisdiction you are responsible for. Convincing senior leaders to support the island digital plans where appropriate

As a Client Engagement Manager, your skills and qualifications will include:
• Having a positive outlook, being client service focussed, being self-motivated and driven to deliver a world class service to your clients
• Previous banking experience is essential
• Familiarity with the concept of corporate clients, and ideally knowledge of the core product set used by Barclays
• Awareness of the digital channels that the Overseas Services business offers and the ability to understand how these channels can maximise the overall experience for the client
• Project Management experience is preferable
• Excellent time-management, self-planning and organisational skills and having the ability to communicate effectively and confidently with both internal and external staff
