Key responsibilities of the Reservations Agent will include:

•        Overseeing individual, group and events enquiries for the hotel
•        Leading a small team of staff
•        Maintaining an efficient flow of reservations correspondence to Red Carnation Hotel standards
•        Managing systems such as Synxsis, IDEAS and 3rd part websites
•        compiling weekly and monthly forecast reports, manage complaint handling and meet budget sales and profit margins
•        Ensure revenue is maximised by selling guest rooms and recommending hotel facilities
•        Answer the telephone and email enquires in a timely manner to give the required information to the guest

The ideal candidate for this Reservations Manager position should:

Have previous experience as a Reservations Manager within a four star property
Have sales driven attitude, striving to meet departmental targets
Be an excellent team player
Have property yielding experience
Have an excellent command of written and spoken English
Be able to work well under pressure
Have a warm friendly, engaging flexible and professional attitude
Be computer literate in Microsoft applications
Have strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
