The Bella is a family owned 4 AA star boutique hotel with a busy 2 rosette restaurant and we are looking to recruit a Chef de Partie to join our busy team. The style of the restaurant is modern European and we pride ourselves on the quality of our offering and great service is at the heart of this. We deliver a unique experience of luxury with your shoes kicked off where nothing is too much trouble for our guests. We have a team of professionals that genuinely care and we are looking to a Chef de Partie to take responsibility for ensuring the delivery of high standards of cuisine within the pastry section of the kitchen within our 2 rosette restaurant, private dining and weddings, creating fantastic memories for our guests.
Actively contributing to driving food sales through inspiring and creative menu planning
You will also support in providing coaching and training to members of your team.
This hands-on role provides the opportunity to develop your supervisory skills in your interactions with team members
We are passionate about what we do.
We have a wine list of over 100 bins, a whisky list of 50 or so, a gin collection of around 70 and a micro distillery where we produce our own unique gins. We have a busy bar with an innovative cocktail offering and are always looking for new ideas to progress.
We have a nose to tail philosophy in the kitchen where we hang and butcher our own meats, we also forage from the land and beaches of the island every week. Situated between England and France we are able to add to the incredible local produce with regular deliveries from the London and Paris markets.


Skills
The successful candidate will come from a solid background, but most importantly will have a can do attitude. We are able to train any potential chefs to a high standard to further their careers.Have experience working in a busy restaurant environment is essential.
Applicants must be flexible as shift patterns will vary and will include evenings and weekends.
