Client Onboarding Analyst

As a Barclays Client Onboarding Analyst, you will act as the primary contact for all new account enquiries, and act as the liaison between the Front Office and Operations teams. We’ll look to you to take care of client visits, providing guidance on the new account process and driving up the quality of client submissions. You will tailor your approach to a diverse range of challenges, from formal negotiations to meetings with colleagues and will act as a role model in respect of procedural requirements, having input into the Client Due Diligence policy and procedure development.

As a Client Onboarding Analyst, your main responsibilities will involve:
• Being the first point of contact for all new account queries, ensuring that all interaction with clients is a positive experience and expectations are managed and met at all times
• Supporting the Barclays Intermediaries teams in conjunction with the Client Due Diligence (CDD) team with all account opening procedures
• Providing ongoing coaching to clients, Front Office and Due Diligence teams and working in close co-ordination with various departments throughout the Bank
• Undertaking client service review visits to support the customer service satisfaction scores in conjunction with our Front Office colleagues
• Working closely with the Client Due Diligence team to identify training gaps and implement and maintain training and development plans on the back of this
• Ensuring an acceptable standard of work through financial crime review and technical self-sign off procedures. Ensuring all non-financial crime control procedures are in place and maintained

As a Client Onboarding Analyst, your skills and qualifications will include:
• Previous exposure to customer due diligence procedures , with a proven record in a trust or fund environment, supported by solid corporate banking experience
• Confidence in working with cross border activities which impact account opening regulations
• Knowledge of money laundering and criminal activity regulations is advantageous
• Previous banking experience and familiarity with the concept of Intermediary & Trust company clients. Knowledge of the core product set used by Barclays is advantageous
• Qualified to A-level or equivalent standard and an aptitude in numeracy is desirable
• Excellent time-management, self-planning and organisational skills as well as strong presentation skills and interpersonal skills
