Client Service Analyst

As a Barclays Client Service Analyst, we’ll look to you to provide an exceptional customer experience that helps customers to achieve their ambitions and meets their day to day banking needs. You will deepen customer relationships to help grow the business and strengthen the Barclays brand in the community, while working collaboratively with other Barclays colleagues and becoming an integral part of our close knit team. You will need to solve simple and complex problems for your customers using your excellent communication skills, and will have the ability to deliver the most appropriate outcome for the customer always.

About us:
The Barclays Overseas Services Servicing Centre team is made up of 55 people across 2 sites. We have 45 employees based in our Douglas, Isle of Man centre and 10 in our newer St Helier, Jersey location. Our agents manage a base of C15,000 corporate and intermediaries’ clients across the following jurisdictions; Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey, London. Clients can reach the team by telephone and written channels.

The team answer and investigate enquiries for our Non Personal (business) clients including:
• Captive Insurance Managers
• Family Office
• Fiduciaries
• Fund Administrators
• Local Business and Retail
• Offshore Corporates

As a Client Service Analyst, your main responsibilities will include:        
• Ensuring that customers feel valued, using your confidence and knowledge to make decisions that lead to good customer outcomes
• Putting yourself in the customer’s shoes, understanding how everyday products and services can help our customers now and in the future, and how they are the most appropriate for their needs
• Demonstrating a strong level of knowledge and understanding of our digital products, proactively educating customers to have confidence in using alternative channels of their choice, at times to suit them
• Accurately completing administration activities such as updating customer records and building customer contact information
• Analysing a wide range of information to identify and address customer issues, implementing preventative actions that benefit the customer and Barclays
• Having an extensive knowledge of products and services, understanding our customer proposition across all channels and keeping up to date with our competitor offerings

As a Client Service Analyst, your skills and qualifications will include:
• Experience of operating in a customer-facing or telephony role where excellent service is paramount
• Experience of dealing with complex customer queries and complaints
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Fantastic relationship building skills
